Hello!

Helen M. Erikson is theatre technician located in the North Carolina Triangle area. She is a recent graduate of UNC Greensboro with a BFA in Design for Theatre. She enjoys learning odd skills and has unintentionally focused her technical theater career in finding unconventional pathways into jobs she never thought existed. Helen will often find the time to explore new skills in depth despite not being asked. By jumping between concentrations and divisions of technical theater, Helen believes in the importance of the ability to think about broader pictures and combine various skills in unique ways.

As a worker, Helen applies the philosophy that she can learn any skill with hard work.

She has found an interest in digital content through the study of projections design and is searching for options to create visuals. On her free time Helen enjoys crocheting blankets, watching so-bad-it’s-good movies, and playing Wizard 101 - often all at once.
